JK Rowling implied that we're stupid and those who have curves would say that we're not feminine..
A statement such as " Only dogs go for bones, real men like curves" actually does little to my ego and self image...
Really, it annoys me, but it does not make me feel like less of a woman...
Actually it makes me happy to know that the guys who like curves don't like me... They might like curves ONLY and not the rest of you, like your personality...
To be honest, some dogs even make better companions than a superficial partner, my spaniel loves me for who I am and accepts me, bony butt and all...
Can you with your pretty curves say that about the guys who 'appreciate' you so much?
Also, we are not dumb! I am not an idiot, just because I am skinny... If you think that we lack intelligence, my goodness, where have you been? My weight does not determine my intelligence, but what I read, who I talk to and what I take from that, does play a role.
I do not starve, just because I'm skinny doesn't mean I'm hungry all the time...
I don't live to eat, I eat when I'm hungry and I eat just what I want. So excuse my bony butt for being able to eat junk food, candy and what ever else I feel like eating.
So, just to let you know, I am NOT jealous of your curves, nor do I want them...
If you're happy, then all is well, but don't break me and every other skinny girl down just because we're 'lacking in intelligence and femininity'... We might actually just surprise you and accept you for who you are, curves and all...
That's it...you tell 'em...
ReplyDeleteOr just say "Whatever" and let them go on their merry way...
Whatever vs opening up a can of worms... Choices, choices....
ReplyDeleteLOL - u r so right - in fact, the curvy types would only make such derogatory statements of / when they envy your "skinny bones". For what it's worth, any man worth his salt will hunt the woman with the personality that he desires.
ReplyDeleteSalagatle!
I agree, jealousy is the root of all the nasty comments...
ReplyDeleteA man worth his salt? Ha, not so many of those around, lucky me to have one and a very accepting spaniel...
