So I've been in Malaysia for a couple of days now... Not doing much and relaxing most of the time...

Singapore obviously doesn't like me as much as what I like them, they refused to extend my visa... Thanks immigration, you guys rock!

Now I get to spend 5 days in Malaysia and just relax...
Wonderful! Best of all, the journey only took around 1 hour maximum...

Time to chill!

I still believe in miracles...

There's an airline that actually doesn't charge me for flight changes, I never wait long to talk to their call center and they're actually nice to an economy flight passenger...
Miracles do happen...

So, I've had problems with Cathay Pacific an airline I won't mention. I've wasted about a day waiting for someone at their call center to assist me in changing a flight and then they charge me for it, since apparently I'm not good enough (economy) or paid enough (economy) to change it for free. It must be really hard work changing and verifying details.

So my one flight is with them and the other flight is with Singapore Airlines...
How brilliant, they make me feel so special, I can change flights for free, they were super polite and friendly...

Now they just need to pay me endorsement fees or allow me to fly for free, since I'm promoting them and all...
(*Brainwave* Cathay Pacific should let me fly for free, from all the emotional trauma, inconvenience and damage to my cash flow that they have caused.)

A comatose weekend...

I was comatose for most of the weekend...
Who knew that listening to an audio book is the cure to Insomnia?

It was the best free weekend ever, except for the fact that I didn't eat any candy, ice cream or chocolate or have a movie marathon or finish The Count of Monte Cristo. (It drags and I keep on thinking how much cooler the movie is and I always prefer the book to the movie)

I didn't do anything productive actually... Perfect lazy weekend...
Unfortunately it's goodbye to the weekend and a full day of work tomorrow.

Seems that I cannot update my blog while listening to an audio book, what an ADHD post...

It's the weekend and I am going to do NOTHING!
I cannot wait to lounge around in my pj's watch movies and eat a tub of ice cream

Queen for a day...

Yes, I was queen for a day..
Finally someone acknowledges that I should be treated like royalty.

I did a shoot that had an Alice in Wonderland theme. Crank up the hallucinogenics... (Maybe that's why I was called Queen by everyone)
I was the queen of hearts and  a tiara and a rabbit slave... Bonus...

That's it... I'm too young to be a mother to 18 year old models...I'm outta here...

I feel like a mommy... I'm wiping tears, making sure everyone's okay, sorting out problems and fixing things... None of these things entertain me much, but it keeps the peace, something that I am a big fan of.

Today has been a bad day, we're having problems with our electricity.

There is an appliance (cough, kettle that seems to be filled to the brim not to the little line that shows the maximum amount of water, cough) that makes the power short circuit.

I will have to give some motherly advice on how to use the kitchen appliances it seems.

The first time it happened everyone tried to switch the lights on and off the whole time... 

I don't understand why anyone would continuously do this. Keep it switched on and then if you see the light... Never mind, tried to explain it and I still heard switches click.

After a while, watching them freak out got boring and I just looked for the switch board and like magic, we had electricity... In my free time time I am now not only a "mom", but also a miracle worker.

This is all really exhausting work since they're all several years just a few months younger than me.

I am unavailable to all requests, tears and everything else.

Now it's just me and my headphones.

Where do you draw the line between being kind and being taken advantage of?

Personally, I don't like being taken advantage of and I'm sure no one else does either.
Acts of kindness are suppose to make us feel good.
I don't feel warm and fuzzy on the inside. I just feel used.

its a terrible feeling, I don't want to do anything sweet, kind or caring at the moment.


I am lenient and I can cope with a lot, but for now, this is what awaits you when you cross the line...

Lady Gaga isn't inspired by fashion, she inspires fashion...

Everyone seems to be completely obsessed with lady Gaga...

I am not the biggest fan, but I don't hate her either...

I don't listen to her music by choice, but it's catchy and causes controversy and its constantly blaring in the background... There's no escape from the wonders of Gaga.

One thing that I do admire about her, is that she's so focused.

Think about it...

 How often do you see photos of her without her crazy hairstyles, elaborate clothing or ridiculous shoes...

I also had the chance to be a button head... I had a show that was a tribute to Lady Gaga.

Let's face it, in Singapore, everyone is Gaga for lady Gaga...

Some people feel relieved when they take their shoes or pants off when they get home.... I feel relieved when I take my fake eyelashes off....

I just got back from a day of shows...
Sounds like lots of work, actually it was two shows and they were far apart.... But that's not the issue, I left home at 7AM and got back after 11PM...

The first thing I did was to get rid of the fake eyelashes...Those things scratch your lids in the worst way... Instant relief. Same feeling as taking your pants off wait, what?
For the first time today, my eyes are fully open, those lashes get heavy!

The shows today were for a very interesting client...
It was for an Islamic fashion tour.

I was covered from head to toe. (no lies)
The only parts that were visible were my face and hands.
Respect to every woman who covers herself like that on a daily basis.
I wouldn't be able to cover, pin and survive in the heat.

Now I can officially say that I know what it feels like to be a modest and chaste woman. Ha!

Fluffy kitties, puppies, mittens, strudel... Screw that, I'm still scared...

Ha! The sound of Music route isn't working very well.

I am not the world's biggest fan of thunderstorms, especially when I have to walk to get to a bus/train..

Seriously, that piece of metal covered in fabric also known as an umbrella, does NOT seem like a safe thing to hold when walking in a storm, especially when you're 6 feet tall. 

It feels like tempting fate.

I think my room mates have gotten use to the humming and finding me in fetal position in the corner unable to move.
